The Introduction of FFU

Sep 10,2026

What Is FFU?

A Fan Filter Unit (FFU) is a modular terminal air supply device with its own power and filtering functions. It is equipped with two-stage filtration — a primary filter and a high-efficiency filter. Air is drawn through the primary and high-efficiency filters at the top of the fan, and clean air is then evenly delivered at a wind speed of 0.45 m/s.

FFU is a type of unit used for filtering laminar air and supplying clean air. It can be used standalone or installed in a modular configuration.

FFU is the core element for building cleanroom products of different classes, including clean booths, clean benches, and clean rooms. It is a laminar flow filter unit that can be installed and used independently or in a modular arrangement.

What Are the Advantages of FFU?

Extremely low power consumption, which reduces operating costs.

Built-in air duct diversion system that reduces noise and pressure loss while improving fan efficiency.

Broad compatibility — easily matches various brands of T-GRID, HEPA, and ULPA filters.

High-efficiency centrifugal fan that provides high air volume and high static pressure, with a service life of up to 50,000 hours.

Suitable for Class 1–1000 cleanrooms.

Ideal for ultra-clean production lines — can be arranged as a single unit according to process needs, or multiple units can be connected in series to form a 100-unit assembly line.
